Marissa’s Bunny
Marissa’s Bunny
The Bunny Brood mailing from last week seems to have mostly arrived, all but the ones to the farthest corners of the globe, at least. If you’ve ordered a Fairfax in the last seven days, they shipped yesterday and should be arriving shortly.
When I was a child, I remember a couple of specific instances where my knees hurt. Nothing crippling or injurious, just a general pain. Weeks later, shirts would be too short or too tight and pants would miraculously look like I was prepared for a flood. Marissa doesn’t seem comfortable in her own skin this week. She’s fidgeting a lot, she’s complaining a bit (but no baby screeches), and is generally a wiggleworm. I tried putting on a warmer pair of footy pajama pants that fit two or three weeks ago, and they were a good inch too short. I think she’s growing again.
If you look at the literature and extended studies of her two steroid treatments, delayed infant growth is a potential side effect. At her last doctor’s visits, she was measured in and is officially a “little thing” so here’s hoping we’ve got that licked finally.
