Marissa’s Bunny
New York City Day 3
Marissa’s Bunny
New York City Day 3
This wraps up the Auntie Vera (no actual relation) tenure with the bunny. Fairfax has already been passed to a second New Yorker, specifically, a Brooklynite so expect another personal take on New York City. Seems to me, the city’s big enough for both of them! Fairfax I is lost, somewhere in New York City, likely near Brooklyn. If you find him, please let us know!
As I mentioned in the picture above, thanks to the cast of Chicago for the picture opportunity. There’s a lot going on during intermission, but most of them managed to cram themselves into a theater stairwell during that brief break for a picture with Fairfax.
Fairfax Updates
All of the Fairfax orders as of September 8th have been shipped. 20 bunnies! Thanks to everyone who purchased. Every Fairfax has a numbered tag around his neck. When you take pictures with Fairfax, please reference the number on the tag so I know which bunny it is, and so I can keep a travelogue if you decide to release him into the wild. Releasing your Fairfax is completely optional- Fairfax needs love too!
Marissa Update
In true Talking Heads style, it’s the same as it ever was. We’ve come up slightly on her Keppra, and that’s going to take a few more days to settle out. Night time sleep is still a precious commodity that we’re short on. More amusingly, we made an appointment with the neurogeneticist. Blood draws all around! Blood draws for her, for us, for her grandparents, for the sister in law, for my brother. Many of them don’t know that they’ve got to see the vampires yet, but they’ll read it at the same time as you, I guess.
Thunder’s coming, so I’m going to post this now before we lose power, like we inevitably do during inclement weather.

Looking out on the street before the events of the day.

Auntie Vera works here!
Hi! It’s Fairfax! Let me in!
Huh. I don’t think I’m on the callsheets today.
Chicago Wall of Fame!
I think I know that guy in the bottom left!
(Seriously, thanks to Mr. Tom Wopat and the rest of the cast of Chicago for posing for this picture!)
His name was Fairfax, he was a showgirl.
Wait, what?
When’s my callback?
Best seat in the house.
Fairfax and the ghost light.
