Marissa’s Bunny
Marissa’s Bunny
The word shearing is not a typo. Regardless of what I typed yesterday, we found time yesterday night between me making something better, which is guy code for accidentally breaking it while monkeying with it and the subsequent repairing of same to get our collective hair cut over at a family member’s house. Of course, the Wife and I are past the crying during a haircut (but I do silently now and again when the shears are dull), but Marissa is right in the zone for epic tears during the process.
So, anything else can happen this week, and I can say I got something done.
Dashboard Upgrade Preview
Check your email boxes and dig deep in your spam subfolders! I got notification that I’m in the preview program for the new xBox upgrade. Naturally this actually means unpaid beta tester proceed at your own peril, but it wouldn’t be the first time I did something like that.
I see no nondisclosure clause, so I’ll share with you this tidbit from the email:

Cool. Nothing like a workaround for a known problem before you can even download the test.
Fairfax and the Cleveland Clinic
As I mentioned before, the Lilly family is dealing with test after test, and a particularly nasty screwjob by a local hotel. Warrior for IS awareness that he is, Ken still found some time to snap some Fairfax shots between Doctors, residents, med students and nursing staff hassling his family.

Thanks, Ken!
Marissa Medical Update
Therapy today was fairly productive! Marissa did have some drops during the therapy, but instead of giving up on it, she (nonverbally) told Tracy that she was ready to play some more.
Marissa’s already thieving some of Mom’s jewelry!

She focused pretty well on them, so maybe we have a new therapy aid!
Tomorrow we’re likely off to the pediatrican to get Marissa’s waning head cold checked to be sure it’s not turning into something nasty.
Not too happy about the haircut.
Much easier to brush, though.
